We want to make this tool accessibile to everyone, so Vesta Property Checker's core functionality is
free, including checking unlimited property listings for missing information in the listing and
automating the message to the agent as well as crime data from the police.
For deep searches covering lots of more useful information that is not in the listing and that cost us
to
retrieve, we charge for via a subscription.
We aim for our data to be as comprehensive and complete as possible.
For properties in Scotland, many of the data attributes are either unavailable
or due to the differences in how the Scottish property sale process works may not be
relevant.
Because of this we have made the decision to restrict our data to England and Wales
where we can be confident in the completeness and accuracy of the data.
The free version checks for information on the listing itself as well as checking crime data for the
area from the UK police.
Our premium data is sourced from both open and paid data sets, direct from the data producers including
Ordnance Survey, Land Registry, and the Office for National Statistics. We source our data directly to
ensure we always have the most accurate and up-to-date property
information available.
